Michigan Youth Bass Fishing Association is a youth fishing organization formed to bring fishing opportunities and events to Michigan youth anglers.
MYBFA is a TBF/SAF sanctioned organization providing fishing opportunities through trail tournaments for high school anglers and junior anglers. Junior anglers are 8th grade and below. No minimum age limit. See rules posted on this Teamapp for both high school and juniors for eligibility.
High School teams have an opportunity to earn a qualifying spot to participate in the TBF/SAF National tournament through the MYBFA Tournament trail events and the juniors through a 1-day qualifying tournament. Juniors also have the opportunity to fish trail tournaments.
Anglers must have a current TBF/SAF membership ($25). Contact us and we'll give you information on how to get a membership.
These are team events-a team consists of 2 anglers & an adult boat captain.
If you do not have a club at your school or in your community, you can start a club and we can give you information on how to do this OR MYBFA will be your club.
Michigan Youth Bass Fishing Association was formed to bring additional fishing opportunities to Michigan Youth Anglers. Our goal is to get as many kids as we can out there having fun & fishing!
